Can the Administrator Token also be used as a User Token?
A.
No. The Administrator Token is configured to enable the administrator
to gain access to a secure web portal to set up and control their
users and their passwords.

Q.
What is the lead time from order to receiving the goods?
A.
The Token Only service will normally be provided within 3 weeks.
The On Site VPN Concentrator solution will normally be provided
within 10 weeks.

Q.
What else needs doing to make this solution work?
A.
The N3 router needs to be reconfigured to allow through the fixed
IP addresses for the Token users and for any server addresses
that need to be seen on N3. This is usually organised through
the CFH or your IT department. For GPs using the Millbeck Managed
Service we organise this for you.

What about users that require mobile access?
A.Mobile broadband solutions from all the major networks will allow the VPN solution to work. We can provide these services.

Q.
Can I use my existing broadband connection for the solution?
A.
In general the answer is yes apart from AOL and SKY users. Your provider
must support IPSEC tunnel passthrough and ideally give an unlimited
throughput of data per month. ThThe routers Sky provide will not support VPN working and they will not release the information necessary to use an alternative router that will support VPN working.
If
your users do not have broadband at the moment the Broadband Internet
from Millbeck Communications meets all technical criteria and
provides billing to surgery or Trust.

Q.
We already have SecurID tokens. Can we use these?
A.
Yes. You will need to export the seed records from your Ace Server
and submit these to the Cable & Wireless security team. You
will then be able to use the token on both your private solution
and this managed one. The set up for your tokens is included in
the annual service charge.

Q.
We already have the Cable & Wireless SecureDial service. Can
I migrate my users to the new service?
A.
Yes. You will need to sign a new contract and pay the slightly
higher rental charges. There is no charge for the migration. You
will need to take at least one of the Administrator Tokens to
administer your users. Users will be able to keep their existing
tokens but following migration would not be able to use the old
dial-up numbers or service.
